Happy May Day!

What a wonderful weekend!  Saturday was National Scrapbook Day and I got to spend it with my sister and two grown nieces crafting away.  

I worked on an 8x8 Mother's Day album.  What did you do?

May 1 was also a big day in Stampin' Up!  The fabulous Summer Mini came online (have you seen the tropical stamps, papers, and other goodies?!) and a brand new promotion for May!  In honor of National Scrapbooking Month you will receive a free pack of Designer brads with a qualifying purchase!

I was up at 2am early Saturday morning to get my order in first thing!   Of course, I had to have ALL the tropical items...after all, I am the Beach Stamper!  

I got:

I also got a pack of the cutest Party Favor Boxes.  They look like miniature Chinese take-out boxes and they're done in the Island Oasis paper colors and patterns.  I'm going to fill them with chocolate and give them to all the moms who have helped in my 2nd grade class this year!

With this order I qualified for the new Hostess Level 1 set called It's the Thought (120027 for clear, 118656 for wood), and it has a crab in it!  I'm in beach heaven!

The Summer mini is chock full of wonderful things!

Hi Stampers!

I have a stamp retreat early tomorrow morning, but am I in my craft room working on the 50 card front swaps I have to create? Of course not! I'm playing on the internet, listening to my iphone fill the room with the sound of ocean waves. Love that 'Ambiance' app! We go to sleep with the sound of a thunderstorm every night.

I can't wait to get with 70 to 80 of my closest and dearest (although unmet - lol!) Stampin' Up friends to create, fellowship, and eat chocolate. What is it about two or more women getting together that has to include chocolate? Like I'm gonna question it. I'm revamping my craft room, so when I can get a space readied I'll post a video of the projects.
